Growing up, my ideas of leadership were shaped by my parents, who epitomized leading by example and always doing the right thing. But I struggled with using the right words, which I think is my biggest weakness. Despite that weakness, I’ve found through Alignment Leadership that it’s more about how I use my voice. I’m learning that I’m uniquely qualified to help others through my kindness as well, which, before Alignment Leadership, I thought couldn’t be a leadership trait. But being a kind leader means unifying people, taking down their walls, and verbalizing their strengths. Alignment Leadership showed me that I didn’t need to bring anything new to the table to be the best leader I can be. I just need to be me.
