My dad was a leader whom I always admired. It was never about tasks or accomplishments with him—it was about how he made people feel every day. Seeing the relationships that he was able to create with others challenged me to be a leader that cared about people. But I struggled a bit with always listening first, then reacting. Alignment Leadership showed me that by focusing on serving others, I can let my strengths—like having an open mind—shine through. I’ve found more confidence in that strength and more comfort in my weakness as well as the grace to work through it. With Alignment Leadership, I’ve learned that I’m already bringing the best version of leadership to my people simply through my own unique gifts.
